Reframing emerged as a natural continuation of Unraveling.
If the previous exhibition explored the courage of letting go, this one became an invitation to gently step into what might emerge afterwards.
I found myself drawn inward: towards intuition, presence, the psyche, the senses.
Towards the inner landscape where transformation often begins long before it becomes visible.
There was a feeling running through the exhibition that is difficult to describe even today.
Almost as though something was being born before it yet had a name.
Not fully formed.
Not fully understood.
But viscerally felt.
The works explored different expressions of what I think of as the feminine principle; not in relation to gender, but as a way of being in the world.
Receiving rather than forcing.
Listening rather than controlling.
Trusting intuition alongside intellect.
Making space for softness, empathy, spaciousness, mystery, and the unseen.
Reframing wasn't asking visitors to see the artworks differently.
It was inviting us to see ourselves differently.
To trust that meaningful change often begins with a whisper, a knowing, a nudge; beneath the surface, long before it takes physical form.
Sometimes the important shifts don't happen when we change the world around us.
They happen when something within us begins to look through new eyes.

Looking Back
Reading these reflections today, I realise how often I returned to the idea of new ways of seeing without yet recognising it as a pillar running through all of my work.
At the time, I believed I was curating an exhibition about transformation.
Looking back, I see that I was exploring something more meaningful.
Every life-changing transformation begins with a shift in perception.
We don't become someone new.
We begin to see ourselves—and the world—with more clarity.
I think that is what Reframing was always about.
